Inquiring Mind – Hi.

ellecapitano employee – Hello.

IM – Are you ellecapitano?

E – Not necessarily.

IM – So who are you?

E - A figment of our imagination. But officially I’m the boss.

IM – Then what is ellecapitano?

E - What the world needs...another production company.

IM - And what is it that you’re production company is doing?

E – Creating a monster.

IM – A monster?

E – A monster. And I’m going to unleash her onto the world to wreak havoc and incite psychological anarchy in an attempt to alter reality.

IM – Why?

E – Why not.

IM –Noticed that is part of your unusual mission statement. Can you explain what that means?

E – Anarchy is defined as “the absence or denial of authority or established order”. And psychological means “of the mind”. So it’s the absence of authority pertaining to the mind, which ultimately is another way of describing Independent Thinking. And that’s what the monster is going to do. Cultivate Independent Thinkers.

IM – And how do you do that?

E - By causing someone to observe things from a different perspective. One’s perception is their reality. Alter the perception, alter the reality. And I’m going to use interesting stories about interesting people to do that. It’s my social science experiment.

IM – None of what you just said sounded like it had anything to do with film production.

E – Because it doesn’t.

IM – So then who are your target audience?

E – Adults.

IM – What’s the one of the first projects?

E – Podcast. Kept the premise simple. One host, three guests. Maybe famous, maybe not.  Pour some drinks and have some raw conversations about everything from sex and money to politics and religion over a couple friendly games of dominoes. It's gonna be fun.

IM – And then what?

E – Some shorts, a feature, a series, another podcast.

IM – Sure you know what you’re doing?

E – Yep.

IM – Well then good luck to you.

E – Thank you.
